iPhone 3G 2.1 Beta Firmware

It looks like Apple is seeding a beta of firmware 2.1, which might have a couple of new GPS features, possibly turn-by-turn directions. The 2.1 firmware isn’t to be confused with the supposed 2.0.1 firmware that will fix a couple of bugs that are in 2.0. Another rumored addition to 2.1 is the copy/paste functionality that each iPhone user has been begging for. Though there was still a shortage of the iPhone in the US a while ago, it seems that stores have been updated in the last hour, so there are available stocks.
