AT&T Ranks Last in Consumer Reports Customer Satisfaction Survey

Well, it’s no surprise to us here at Switched that, according to the annual Consumer Reports survey of readers, AT&T is at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to customer satisfaction. The survey (subscription required) covered 50,000 readers in 26 cities and AT&T ranked dead-last in 19 of the 26 markets.
While AT&T’s issues with dropped calls, spotty coverage, and achingly slow data in major metropolitan areas like New York and San Francisco are well documented, to hear that even in smaller markets AT&T is struggling to meet the demand placed on its network does not bode well for the company. AllThingsD (and many) lay the blame squarely at the feet of the iPhone: AT&T was simply not equipped to handle the influx of customers and the increase in use of data services.
