Apple Launches iPhone 4 Case Program, Sending Bumper Refunds Soon
July 26, 2010 · Print This Article
Kicking off what we hope is the beginning of the end of the ‘Antennagate‘ mess, Apple launched its iPhone 4 Case Program this day. Steve Jobs promised free Bumpers, cases and refunds to iPhone 4 owners at last week’s emergency press conference, and you’re eligible for the refund or case as long as you purchase Apple’s latest phone before September 30th.
For those of you who have already bought an official Bumper, your credit card will soon be credited for the full cost of the buy, including taxes and shipping. Cash, check and credit card purchases made at the Apple Store require that you to return to the Apple Store for a refund, but AT&T purchasers get to fill out this Rebate Form and return by mail. If you haven’t purchased a case yet, fire up the App Store on your iPhone, grab the ‘iPhone 4 Case Program’ app, and select your complimentary reception-saving cover. Once you’ve jumped through the digital paperwork, it’s probably ideal to just launch some ‘Angry Birds’ — your new case probably won’t be arriving for a few weeks. [From: Apple, via: Engadget]
